THIS CATTERY KILLED MY CAT

I have had to have my cat put down due to neglect on their part. He suffered a blood clot whilst there, which obviously was no fault of the cattery, but due to neglect they didn’t take a cat who clearly couldn’t walk and was suffering, to the vets and put it down to him “sulking”. Surely a cattery who look after animals can identify a clearly sick animal? They JOKED when I arrived that he had been “sulking” all week and that’s why he hadn’t left his carrier. He didn’t leave the carrier and hadn’t eaten for days but no one considered this a reason to raise a concern with his owners or contact a vet. I tried to phone multiple times a day to check in on him and they did not answer the phone once - maybe if they had, I could have told them how out of character his behaviour was. The emergency vet said that due to the length of his suffering there was nothing that could be done - if it had been caught earlier he would still be here today. DO NOT USE THIS CATTERY
